Dr. Nkami Wellness Centre is a medical practice founded by Dr Nkami Vureni. At our wellness centre we recognise that each patient is an individual with unique circumstances, and we are committed to providing exceptional, personalised medical care tailored to their specific needs.
Our wellness centre offers General Healthcare, IV Therapy and a specialised Weight Loss Management service (Obesity Treatment). Dr Nkami’s passion and special interest in Obesity stems from personal experience from having lived with the condition and undergoing treatment successfully.
With years of medical experience, she has gained the necessary skills & knowledge to pair with her personal experience enabling her to help patients achieve sustainable weight loss through evidence-based medical care, personalised treatment plans, and lifestyle guidance.
About Us
Dr Nkami Vureni is a qualified doctor having obtained her medical degree (MBCHB) from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU). She has completed training in Basic Life Support (CPR & AED), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS), Essential Steps in the Management of Obstetric Emergencies (ESMOE) and Basic Surgical Skills. Dr Nkami is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and also a member of South African Medical Association Trade Union (SAMATU)
